The graph above shows the rate of reaction. Within the first three minutes of the reaction drops at a very rapid rate. Then, the next two minutes the rate of reaction has a huge increase. After this wave the reaction steadily decreases until it halts. Since, at the beginning of the reaction the reaction dropped, the color changed very slowly. With the increase the color changed very dramatically. In conclusion, increasing amount pH to the reaction did help increase the time it took to finish.
